My Product Path are exclusively partnered with a high growth Financial Services organistion in recruiting a Business Analyst to work on a number of Software, IT & Change projects on a permanent basis.
Job Purpose
To assess new change requests and assist the business in clarifying benefits for change requests and projects. Work with internal business specialists, stakeholders and third-party IT suppliers to define and document business requirements and processes. Assist in the identification of suitable solutions to meet identified business requirements. Assist in delivery of agreed business changes by participating in User Acceptance Testing and facilitating change requests during delivery of change.
Role & Responsibilities
* in projects, working with business areas to define and document requirements
* closely with end users and technology providers to develop logical and innovative solution designs to address requirements captured.
* Produce associated documentation to support project deliverables from origin through to delivery.
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure agreed delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
* To support the end users with training and associated documentation as needed.
* Ensuring solutions meet our high customer service standards in accordance with regulation and policy.
* Monitoring and reporting on project progress including benefit realisation.
* Maintaining status updates in the Business Change Tracker
* Managing and delivering a portfolio of small change (if required)
Your Background:
* Experience and understanding of how to interpret business needs and requirements
* Project documentation production e.g. Work Breakdown Structures, Impact Assessments, Requirements Catalogues, Design Documents and Implementation Plans
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrable knowledge of and experience working with project management principles, e.g. RAID logs, Project plans, Project phases etc.
* Excellent organisational skills
* Previous experience of financial services
* Previous Technology experience as a BA is a must
* Demonstrable experience / training in analysis methodologies (e.g. BCS certification in BA Practice and / or Requirements Engineering or equivalent)
* Experience working with teams of internal employees, contractors and consultants across multiple locations
