The ideal candidate will:
* Possess great knowledge of domiciliary care and be computer literate.
* Possess outstanding communication and management abilities.
* Determine the needs of service users, then put together care plans and risk assessments.
* Conduct evaluations of current service users.
* Create and uphold strong connections with service users' families and professionals.
* Attend meetings whenever the management assigns meetings.
* Throughout the induction process, be sure to support and evaluate both new and experienced care workers to ensure compliance. You should also conduct spot checks and all audits.
* Assist team members with mentoring, monitoring, and support. Maintain quality monitoring and auditing procedures for all aspects of service delivery.
* Continually be prepared to act in case of emergencies. When necessary, provide office coverage.
* Make sure all paperwork is completed in accordance with DomCare policy, CQC standards, and Commissioning Authorities specifications.
* To maintain a strong level of quality service, make sure there is excellent communication between management, service users, personnel, and professionals.
* Hold meetings, reviews, and staff supervisions. Respond and assist staff members and service consumers as needed to maintain a high standard of service.
* Encourage innovative concepts, sustain employee morale and motivation, and promote high standards and skill development among the team.
* To give superior service on behalf of the firm both internally and externally, one must be committed to doing so.
* Additionally, one must be flexible and reliable and possess excellent people management skills.
Key Responsibilities will be:
* To oversee and support a group of care workers, create precise work schedules and rotas for them, and give them verbal and written directions.
* To uphold confidentiality at all times.
* To serve as the primary point of contact for Care Workers and Service Users.
* To support the team in ensuring that a high standard of service is always provided.
* To make sure that all phone calls and email correspondence are quickly answered and treated with respect.
* Reporting to and assisting other team members, such as the Registered Manager and Care Manager.
The successful completion of an enhanced disclosure check, positive references, and induction training are all requirements for accepting an employment offer.
You must be self-assured in order to manage a group of carers and make sure that care is delivered in a way that encourages independence, aims for the best results, and puts the needs of the service user first.
