Job Description:
Nominate Recruitment is partnering with a successful organization based in Ballyclare to grow their Accounts function. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. Reduced hours may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Accounts Payable process: process supplier invoices, compile monthly supplier payment runs, reconcile supplier statements.
* Process interdepartmental invoices and allocate to cost centers.
* Analyze and prepare employee expenses.
* Compile monthly KPIs for decision making.
* Prepare and post journals at month-end, including accruals and prepayments.
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns.
* Meet month-end deadlines.
Candidate Requirements:
* Part-qualified or qualified (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). Candidates who are not yet part-qualified will also be considered.
* Previous experience in key duties such as managing accounts payable, preparing management accounts, stock reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations (highly desirable but not essential).
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
