About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a key leadership and staff development role. Working 20 hours per week across a flexible rota (including some weekends), you will ensure our care team is well-supported, skilled, and confident in delivering the highest standard of care to our residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about training, supervision, and maintaining excellent clinical standards within a supportive care home environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff Training & Development: Design, deliver, and assess training sessions to ensure our team maintains exceptional care standards.
* Supervision & Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to care staff, encouraging professional growth and confidence.
* Leadership & On-Call Duties: Take a proactive leadership role within the home, including participation in the on-call rota.
* New Staff Induction: Lead the induction of new team members, ensuring they are fully prepared and welcomed into the team.
* Clinical Excellence: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best clinical practices, ensuring care complies with regulatory standards and exceeds resident expectation.
* About you
* NMC Registered Nurse (current pin essential).
* Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is desirable.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends.
* A genuine passion for improving care quality and developing others.
