Looking to make a real difference in a child’s school day? We’re on the lookout for a caring and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming ASD Hub in Weston-super-Mare.
This role is all about helping young people with autism feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. You’ll be part of a dedicated team who believe that every child deserves the chance to shine.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with autism
* Creating a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to support progress
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and communication skills
What we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (bonus points if you’ve worked with autism)
* A patient, understanding, and flexible approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Someone who can bring warmth, creativity, and positivity to every day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
