An Established, dynamic Residential Developer with a strong reputation within the construction industry who specialise in delivering quality homes across the South East of England. Offering bespoke design and build projects in exclusive locations, including a multi-million pound mansions.
Due to growing success and innovative business they are currently seeking an ambitious experienced Head of Technical on a permanent basis with previous experience within the Residential Sector working for a Main Contractor or Developer.
Key Responsibilities
·To manage the technical element of all project plans/briefs
·Provide necessary input and support to the planning teams
·To maintain and update records of design, including drawings, registers and reports throughout the design stages
·To lead on the review and development of the departmental processes and guidelines.
·Liaise, support and work closely with colleagues, senior Managers and Directors to ensure the technical requirements are met.
·Keeping legislative and building regulation changes up to date on.
·To research, investigate and provide feedback to the business on all new commercially viable building products
The Person
·Residential development experience and design management process.
·Ability to demonstrate continuing development and understanding of emerging requirements
·Track record of procuring consultants and detailed design packages and working with main contractors.
·Effective and proven negotiator with professional organisations.
·Proven leadership skills to manage a highly skilled and motivated team of design professionals
·Enthusiasm, resilience, resourcefulness and a high degree of personal drive.
·Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of a senior position
·Good and maintainable network of contacts across all areas of operation.
·Recognisethe importance of effective communication within the business and beyond.
