Hours – Part-time (18 - 25 Hours Per Week - Tuesday to Thursdays 4.30/5pm - 9.30pm, Sundays 11.30am - 2.30pm, Game days Saturday/Sunday)

An American Football Club in London offers a student/new graduate internship for the 2026 season. This voluntary position involves supporting player welfare, performing injury assessments, and managing physiotherapy during matchdays. The ideal candidate is pursuing or has completed a degree in Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation or Physiotherapy, demonstrates knowledge in injury management, and has a passion for sports. Applicants should confirm weekday evening and weekend availability for the internship period from May to September.
The Ideal Candidate Must
– Demonstrate good understanding of the sport or willingness to learn about the sport
– Be proficient using Windows products (Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
– Be working towards completing an undergraduate/postgraduate degree in sports therapy/rehabilitation/physiotherapy or a relevant field OR have experience working as a sports therapist/physio
– Have a valid pitchside first aid certificate or willing to complete a course
– Cope in high demanding situations
– Be able to commit to the entire 2026 season
Key Roles And Responsibilities
– Work closely with and support the medical team
– Provide support to the pre and post-game treatments process
– Attend training sessions and games, assisting with injury assessments and rehab protocols
– Attend clinic sessions and assist with treatments
– Assist with delivering rehab sessions – group and individual
– Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are carried out efficiently and responsibly
– Completing ad-hoc requests
– Be available to work flexible hours
