Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is currently looking for an Administrative Officer to support their department. This will be Monday to Friday, 37.00 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of extension, paying £12.34 per hour. Initially, the role will be fully onsite during training for the first two months, with potential hybrid working options thereafter, involving 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
This role requires you to handle the following tasks and any other ad hoc administrative duties:
1. Financial data inputting
2. Bank reconciliation
3. Dealing with general correspondence via letter, email, text, and telephone
4. Excellent telephone skills
5. Proficiency in MS applications, especially Outlook, Word, and some Excel
The client is seeking candidates with previous financial experience.
