Job Description
* Managing material requirements to ensure timely and accurate availability of supplies for production
* Coordinating with the procurement team to optimise purchasing and delivery schedules
* Analysing and managing inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
* Assisting in the development of production plans and schedules
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve material or supply chain issues
* Developing and maintaining productive relationships with suppliers and vendors
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful MRP Planner should have:
* Proven experience in MRP systems and supply chain processes
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
* A proactive approach to problem-solving
