Job Description
o Build, transform, and maintain robust Power BI semantic models using DAX and Power Query, integrating data from Azure Databricks.
o Design and deliver intuitive, self-service dashboards that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
o Apply best practices in modelling and reporting for performance optimisation.
o Collaborate with IT, business units, and vendors to define reporting needs and ensure adoption of solutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Power BI Specialist should have:
* Extensive experience & proficiency in Power BI development, including data modelling and DAX.
* Azure Databricks exp.
* Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices.
* Experience liasing with both business & IT stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
* Proven track record in delivering customer-focused reporting solutions.
* Experience migrating reports from Oracle BI (or similar legacy system) to PowerBI.
