Our client is looking for a Mechanical Fitter based working on Anglian Water projects throughout the region.Our internal team play an integral role ensuring each project is carried out safely, within programme, is aligned to budget and completed to the highest standard. We pride ourselves on our integrity, competency, transparency and openness with clients and our entire supply chain.Key responsibilities:The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for installations of pipe work and equipment and to complete all tasks / activities assigned in a safe & efficient manner ensuring that all associated standards are adhered to.Working across various projects duties and responsibilities include installing pipework, valves, pumps, motors etcCarrying out planned maintenance checksTo undertake assigned activities under the direction of the Supervisor or Team LeaderAdhering to strict safety regulationsLearning about new mechanical & piping legislationEnsure all work is completed to the appropriate levels of safety, quality & costTake care of any safety equipment / tools provided and ensure they are used correctlySkills / Qualifications/certifications:Demonstrable experience in a mechanical fitting role.CSCS CardManual HandlingPressure Safety Systems Regulations (PSSR)Own ToolsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Additional leaveVanFuel CardCompany pensionFree or subsidised travelLife insuranceOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Anglian Region reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:mechanical fitter: 2 years (required)water industry: 1 year (required)
