Pyramid8 are working with an interesting business based in Normanton for an experienced and hands-on Head of HR to lead and shape our people strategy in a growing, close-knit organisation based in Normanton.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we attract, develop and retain exceptional people while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
About the Role
This is a strategic yet highly practical role within a business of around 70–80 full-time employees. You will be responsible for setting direction while also being actively involved in day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the overall people strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals
2. Advise and support the Leadership Team on all HR and people-related matters
3. Take ownership of recruitment strategy and delivery across the business
4. Manage and maintain the company organisational structure and org chart
5. Develop, implement and oversee all HR policies and procedures
6. Ensure full compliance with employment law and HR best practice
7. Drive team member wellbeing, engagement and performance initiatives
8. Support and guide managers on employee relations matters
9. Assist with payroll processes (desirable but not essential)
About You
10. Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role
11. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
12. Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on in a smaller business environment
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
14. Passionate about people, culture and organisational development
15. CIPD qualification (desirable)
