About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Programmer with strong proficiency in WoodWOP 9 to join our growing production team.
The role involves programming and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision fire doorsets, frames, and panels for the construction and commercial fit-out sectors.
You’ll play a key part in maintaining product quality, accuracy, and compliance with fire safety and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and operate CNC woodworking machinery using WoodWOP 9.
Read and interpret technical drawings, production data, and specifications.
Set up tooling, calibrate machinery, and monitor production runs for accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimise programs and production flow.
Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues when required.
Ensure all work meets quality and fire safety compliance standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer in woodworking or joinery manufacturing.
Strong proficiency in WoodWOP 9.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
Solid knowledge of wood machining, tooling, and production processes.
Experience with fire doorsets or bespoke joinery (desirable).
Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.
Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
Experience with beamsaw and edge bander machines is advantageous.
