Concrete Dispatch Coordinator Delivering exceptional service through precision, communication and innovation We are seeking a highly organised and customer‑focused Concrete Dispatch Coordinator to join our central operations team in Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an industry‑leading remote batching operation, using cutting‑edge technology to oversee concrete production across multiple sites. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues, plant supervisors and customers to ensure the efficient production, scheduling and delivery of high‑quality concrete. You will play a key part in providing outstanding service while operating remotely within a fast‑paced and innovative environment. Purpose of the Role You will remotely operate a network of concrete batching plants, ensuring that concrete is produced to the highest standards and that customers receive exceptional service. Using advanced Robotix CCTV and IT systems, you will manage production from our central office, coordinating plant activities, supporting customers and maintaining consistent quality. Key Accountabilities Remote Batching & Production Management Operate and oversee batching processes remotely using Robotix CCTV and digital infrastructure Produce and load concrete accurately in line with company procedures and technical instructions Work closely with Plant Supervisors to ensure materials, capacity and resources meet production demand Maintain optimum output, quality and compliance with specifications Customer Service & Communication Handle incoming calls and emails professionally, understanding customer requirements in detail Capture and process customer orders accurately, including account and cash sales Negotiate realistic delivery times based on production schedules and truck capability Keep customers informed throughout the order and delivery process Coordination & Team Collaboration Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, offering a personalised service Support colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment Escalate issues appropriately when beyond authority or capability Develop multi‑skilled knowledge to provide cover across roles when required Operational Awareness & Compliance Understand forward order books, forecasts and operational capacities Comply with all health and safety, environmental, quality and fraud‑prevention policies Report any defects, risks or incidents that may affect safety, product quality or operational performance Ensure all operations adhere to Group and Regional Administrative procedures General Responsibilities Navigate internal systems accurately and efficiently Assist management with additional duties as required Maintain high standards of professionalism and accuracy in all tasks Education and Qualifications GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) Who We're Looking For A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills, able to work in a dynamic environment where accuracy, customer focus and teamwork are essential.
