Teaching Assistant – SEN Team (Weymouth)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a mainstream primary school in Weymouth that is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their SEN support team on a full-time basis.
The Role
* Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs within a mainstream setting
* Working closely with the school’s SEN team and class teachers
* Providing 1:1 and small group support as required
* Helping pupils to access learning and develop independence
* Monday to Friday role with consistency and routine
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous SEN experience preferred (education, care or support settings)
* Patient, nurturing and proactive approach
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
* DBS on the Update Service preferred, or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel
* Able to commute to Weymouth reliably
