* Leading a team in alignment with ARC’TERYX Vision, Purpose and Values
* Overseeing and supporting the floor with the five pillars (experience, product, community, operations, people)
* Training and coaching a high‑performing team while upholding the ARC’TERYX Guest Journey
* Leading by example and empowering team members to self‑lead through development plans
* Identifying and cultivating a store leadership talent pipeline with the Store Manager
* Managing the entire employee experience from onboarding to off‑boarding (hiring, training, performance management, termination)
* Delivering bold objectives both in‑store and in the community
* Building brand presence and guest loyalty by upholding our mission and values
* Championing floor leadership and exceptional guest experience by leading the floor 5 days a week
* Empowering your team to use their best judgement in guest service matters
* Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations with focused goals
* Collaborating with the Store Manager and Community Marketing Manager to execute events that support the company mission and increase community involvement
* Evaluating team needs quarterly to ensure staffing and development meet current and future demands
* Executing store events to drive traffic and community engagement
Are you our next Assistant Store Manager?
* 2-3 years of leadership and retail management experience
* Strong leadership skills: recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, retaining future leaders
* Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to evolve for great results
* Passion for service and delivering exceptional guest experience
* Financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, margins, expense control)
* Ability to set a clear vision and align the team around common goals
* Balanced autonomy and collaboration
* Commitment to doing the right thing, even when it’s not easy
* Passion for outdoor lifestyle and living it
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management and problem‑solving abilityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Expectations
* Employee availability reflects business needs; schedule may include morning, afternoon, evening shifts and weekends.
* Availability for “Black Friday” and the second week of December until the end of the holiday season.
* Accountability for duties outlined in the Assistant Store Manager Role and Responsibilities document; performing product guide duties as needed.

Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week (five days a week)
