Credit Controller
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow (Hybrid Working)
Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a leading professional services firm as they look to welcome an experienced Credit Controller into their Finance team.
This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring overdue debt is minimised and cash flow is well maintained – all while building positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing and monitoring a portfolio of overdue accounts
* Proactively chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and letter
* Resolving queries in a professional, timely manner
* Working closely with fee earners and the Cashroom team to resolve issues
* Escalating problematic accounts where appropriate
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in credit control, ideally within a professional services environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confidence to engage with colleagues at all levels
* Resilience and persistence in resolving challenging situations while maintaining relationships
