An opportunity has arisen for a Membership Services Coordinator to join the Debentures team on a permanent basis. The Role: The Rugby Football Union is looking for an experienced Membership Services Coordinator, who will play a key role supporting the Debenture membership and sales team and contributing to the overall success of the England Rugby Debenture programme as well as supporting the wider Premium sales team when required. Reporting into the Debenture Memberships Manager, the Membership services coordinator is responsible for supporting Debenture members by managing ticketing, renewal and general enquires, ensuring a seamless experience. The role holder will undertake administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate membership records, processing payments, and coordinating with the Debenture team to deliver the member programme. Strong communication and organisation skills are essential as the role will involve responding to member queries, assisting with the administration of Debenture sales, and ensuring members receive a top-tier service. The Team: The England Rugby Debenture Team is responsible for managing and supporting Debenture Members, who have priority access to tickets for matches at Allianz Stadium. This team plays a key role in ensuring an excellent experience for circa 6000 Debenture members, handling renewals, sales, and customer service inquiries while also working closely with hospitality and ticketing teams. Some key responsibilities include: Support retention efforts by engaging with Debenture members ahead of renewals Assist the Premium Sales & Membership Executive in implementing the Debenture member loyalty program Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Debenture members in Sport XR and CRM systems. Field enquiries regarding ticketing, renewals, and benefits associated with Debenture membership. Added value piece, i.e. events, discounts with partners, enhance match day. Manage the Debenture shared inbox, ensuring all emails are answered or passed on to the relevant staff member. Assist with Debenture transfers, resale processes, and membership upgrades. Offer an enhanced customer service experience for the membership tiers. Resolve any issues related to match tickets, seating, or match day event access To assist with Premium areas on match day; dietary requirements, tv schedules, programs ordering and admin. Customer Service excellence as a prerequisite to enhance Debenture members’ engagement and their match day experience; Point of contact for the Ticketing Customer Service team for all Debenture enquiries that cannot be answered by the ticketing team. Updating articles online and ‘help’ articles for fresh desk as well identifying areas that require more improvement for the online customer journey. Assist with hospitality or exclusive member events, ensuring smooth operations. Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of the current strategic, business and operational plans. Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of the RFU, including the promotion of our culture and core values – This Rose Means Everyone: Put The Team First, Shape The Future, Respect Each Other. Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the organisation. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: The skills and attributes outlined in this description are not exhaustive and we welcome candidates who can bring different relevant experiences to the role. Essential: Previous events or office experience Proven time management and prioritisation skills. Excellent judgement, a can-do, problem-solving attitude and ability to think creatively to reach desired goals. Proficient in working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and proficiency with Smartsheet. Effective interpersonal, and relationship management skills. Proactive self-starter with the perseverance and ability to manage competing priorities.
