About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Derby City Centre and surrounding areas who are recruiting Primary Teachers to work on both day-to-day supply and longer-term assignments across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days and longer-term placements, including delivering engaging, curriculum-led lessons, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment, and supporting pupils’ academic and social development. For day-to-day supply, no lesson planning is required, with clear guidance and resources provided by schools.

Assignment Details

Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working within a UK primary school setting (KS1 and/or KS2)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
* Knowledge of the primary national curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
