Overview
The Best Connection Melksham are looking for reliable Class 1 drivers to join our Radstock based client's driving team. You will be working any 2-4 days between Monday and Saturday, with varying shift starts and the opportunity to work with a friendly & supportive team.
Responsibilities
* Using a hand-held scanner and a route planner, you will be making timely deliveries of caged or palletised goods to retail sites, events and festival sites around the South and South-West.
* You will also be performing daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Compensation
* £16.00 per hour
* 5 day shifts between Monday and Saturday
Requirements
* A valid Cat CE licence
* 6 months Commercial driving experience
* A good level of fitness (as some heavy lifting)
* Proficient in using technical aids such as PDA\'s and Sat-Navs
* Experience in making timed deliveries essential
* A right to work in the UK
* Access to a smart-phone or device to complete our online registration process.
