About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. Key Responsibilities: * Provide emotional and practical support to service users with mental health needs. * Assist with daily living activities, including personal care (where required). * Encourage and promote independence, confidence, and well-being. * Support service users in following care plans and achieving personal goals. * Monitor, record, and report changes in service users’ health and behaviour. * Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies. * Ensure all safeguarding and confidentiality policies are adhered to. Requirements: * Must be female (due to genuine occupational requirements under the Equality Act 2010). * Must have the legal right to work in the UK. * Previous experience in mental health, healthcare, or support work is desirable but not essential – full training can be provided. * Compassionate, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours.
