Job Description
NATS, a prominent presence in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a skilled Test Manager on a contract basis to oversee test management of projects and ensure testing meets necessary criteria, enabling the issuance of a Verification of Successful Testing Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage testing across various project stages, ensuring all tests meet defined entry and exit criteria.
* Create, review, and approve checklists for each testing stage in collaboration with NATS Project Management.
* Record test execution details, including tester information, completion dates, and outcomes.
* Ensure all test evidence is recorded in appropriate formats as agreed with the Project Manager.
* Oversee defect management, including recording, updating, and closure.
* Create and manage a traceability matrix for testing against requirements.
* Review and improve IS test methodology and processes to ensure successful project delivery.
* Support and contribute to IS on all aspects of testing, including the creation and management of test scripts.
Job Requirements:
* Experience in managing and executing testing in a structured environment.
* Strong understanding of test methodologies and processes.
* Ability to create structured test documentation, including checklists and test scripts.
* Skilled in recording test evidence and managing defect tracking systems.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Capability to work collaboratively within a project management environment.
