As their UK business continues to grow, they’re looking for a Business Support Manager, someone who thrives in a varied role that combines customer service, coordination, and commercial support, with the opportunity to develop into more active sales responsibilities over time.
The Role
You’ll act as the key link between UK customers, the local Key Account team, and the wider European business. Day to day, you’ll handle everything from order management and quotations to product data and communication, ensuring customers receive excellent service at every stage.
You will:
* Be the first point of contact for UK customers by phone, email, and Teams.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations, contracts, and pricing.
* Enter and manage orders, including changes and updates.
* Coordinate supply within the UK and monitor order volumes.
* Handle complaints and credit notes with professionalism and care.
* Support portfolio development by analysing customer and market needs.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Management.
* Proactively engage existing and dormant customers to identify new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in supply chain management or customer service/order management within a B2B setting.
* A confident communicator with excellent telephone and relationship skills.
* Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
* Comfortable balancing administrative and proactive commercial activities.
* Fluent in English (German a plus).
