In this role, you will manage production schedules, translate demand into material requirements, maintain planning BOMs, and monitor performance to ensure on-time delivery. You will collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams, helping to optimise processes, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and comfortable making decisions under changing conditions, and have a background in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations. Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for: Develop and manage production schedules based on orders and forecast demand Convert demand data into material requirements using MRP and maintain planning BOMs Analyse trends and historical data to optimise planning assumptions and configurations Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and stakeholders to align production plans Monitor production performance, including delivery dates and schedule adherence Adjust schedules for demand changes, engineering updates, and capacity or supply constraints Track performance metrics, resolve shortages/risks, and drive continuous planning improvements. Skills & experience required. Experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations.
