Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Irlam is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team this November.
In this rewarding role, you will collaborate closely with class teachers to support lesson delivery across the curriculum. You’ll provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, helping to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and creative lessons while maintaining a productive classroom atmosphere
* Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups, both during lessons and intervention sessions
* Promote a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages learning and wellbeing
* Support pupils’ emotional development through positive interaction and encouragement
* Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and administrative tasks
* Lead targeted interventions for pupils with additional learning needs
* Maintain strong communication with colleagues, parents, and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
