The Role
The role of Production Manager will involve overseeing two lines operating on 6-2 and 2-10 shifts, with a total headcount of 20+. This role will take full responsibility for the success of the production team, working collaboratively with engineering, technical, and stock control teams to ensure production targets are met. The Production Manager will:
1. Mentor a team of 4 team leaders, assessing their skills gaps and developing them to ensure a robust succession plan
2. Overseeing daily production, utilising route cause analysis to implement proactive steps for issue resolution
3. Working cross-departmentally with engineering, lab, technical, stock control, and processing teams, striving to ensure efficient and effective communications
4. Implement processes and SOPs for production, understanding how the business operates and looking to improve on areas such as downtime
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Production Manager role you will need:
