The Branch & Sales Office Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations while leading the internal sales, purchasing, and admin teams to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support.
This role requires a dynamic and proactive leader who can balance operational efficiency, financial oversight, and customer relationship management.
Branch Manager Job Overview
* Oversee daily business activities, ensuring smooth operations in all areas, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and compliance with company policies.
* Monitor KPIs, budgets, and profitability, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Support business development by maintaining customer relationships and assisting sales teams with complex quotes.
* Ensure timely and professional responses to customer enquiries and resolve escalated issues.
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
* Represent the branch within the local business community and support growth initiatives.
Branch Manager Job Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Proven leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, managing multiple priorities seamlessly.
* Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.
* Sales and marketing proficiency with proven ability to drive growth and customer engagement.
* Proficient in CRM systems and other business software.
Branch Manager Salary & Benefits
* Salary circa £40,000 (negotiable)
* 8am – 5pm
* Monday - Friday
* 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
