You will be responsible for a large area stretching across the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. You must be based within this territory, preferably between Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow. This field based role focuses on driving new business, strengthening customer relationships and supporting users across the territory. Responsibilities: - Sales Development: Identify new opportunities and manage the full sales cycle. - Customer Management: Build and maintain relationships through structured site visits, calls and account management. - Field Work: Carry out product demonstrations, training sessions and onsite meetings (including overnight travel). - CRM Management: Keep accurate records and follow internal sales processes using CRM software (Salesforce). - Events: Organise and attend local mini exhibitions, symposiums and similar activities. - Additional Duties: Support territory related marketing, contribute to webinars and training videos, and report on competitors and market trends. Requirements: - Experience working with organic, medicinal, scale up or process chemists within sectors such as pharmaceuticals, CROs, biotech, biopharma, chemicals or academia. - Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets. - BSc or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific field. - Good technical understanding of chemistry related laboratory equipment. - Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. - Full UK driving licence. - Dynamic, self motivated and highly organised. - Resilient and able to stay effective during demanding sales cycles. - Confident communicating with senior stakeholders. - A team player with sound decision making abilities. - Flexible and comfortable engaging with customers at all levels.
