Job Overview
Due to continued growth; we are seeking a skilled Workshop Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in equipment repair, assembly, and maintenance. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and repairing various machinery and tools, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. The Workshop Service Technician will also provide excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
* Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment using hand tools and power tools.
* Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
* Assemble components and machinery as per specifications.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
* Lift heavy items safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in mechanical repair or a related field is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous.
* Ability to lift heavy objects safely (up to 50 kg).
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly disposition.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy workshop setting.
