We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.
The Role
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our card machines. This is a crucial, high-impact role at the heart of our rapid growth in the UK and European markets. You’ll be responsible for ensuring we have the right number of terminals in the right places at the right time.
Based in our Bristol office (4 days a week), with occasional travel to London and supplier sites across the UK and Europe.
What you'll do...
1. Own the Forecasting Process: Work with the Finance and Growth teams to translate sales figures into a precise machine forecast for all markets. You'll use your sophisticated forecasting skills to manage large numbers and justify your plans to senior stakeholders.
2. Manage Supplier Relationships: Be the primary owner for our key suppliers, including PAX. This includes understanding their delivery timelines, managing supplier performance, and negotiating commercial agreements to ensure cost-efficiency.
3. Oversee Logistics and Operations: Take charge of the entire logistics process, including the movement of card machines with lithium batteries, which requires expertise in handling dangerous goods and import/export regulations.
4. Manage the Refurbishment Lifecycle: Partner with our Operations Manager to forecast returns and manage third-party refurbishing suppliers in the UK and Italy. You'll maintain quality standards and ensure the process remains within budget.
5. Lead with Gravitas: Use your gravitas to work directly with senior sales leaders, influencing them and driving crucial decisions. You will also lead and develop a small, talented supply chain team, fostering a coaching and empowering environment.
6. Strategic Initiatives: Lead on key strategic projects to improve efficiency and drive scalability.
What you'll bring...
7. An in-depth understanding of the UK and European logistics landscape, including import/export legislation, as well as experience with final-mile carriers, fulfilment centres, and reverse supply chains.
8. Highly data-literate with comfort around building detailed forecast models and presenting complex data to senior stakeholders.
9. Exceptional communication with the ability to influence stakeholders and hold your own in challenging conversations.
10. Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people.
11. Experience in the card payments or a similar industry would be a plus. Experience managing the delivery of high-value items with individual serial numbers is also desirable.
Dojo home and away
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.
That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.
With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?
If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.
If the following speak to you, let’s talk:
12. You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
13. You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
14. You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
