Job title: Cyber Security Consultant Location: Filton, New Malden, Broad Oak, Dorchester, Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Salary: Circa £74,500 depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Providing advice and guidance on security design including operations (e.g. supply chain and logistics) Managing stakeholders both internally and externally including running security working groups and capturing decisions Taking responsibility for the delivery of Project Requirements and Deliverables, ensuring a plan is in place for security requirements acceptance, and delivering the associated documentation Creating, delivering, and maintaining of security artefacts Providing a pragmatic approach to security design in line with requirements and budge Your skills and experiences: Essential: Knowledge and understanding of multiple security frameworks and control sets (e.g. NIST / ISO27001 / JSP440) An understanding of risk management Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate complex ideas Solid technical security understanding e.g. Security Architecture Desirable: CISSP Degree qualified in a STEM related subject CEng Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered. The Product Security Capability Centre team: In this role you will be providing support to deliver secure products both internally and for our customers. You will work across all BAE Systems business units throughout the UK working on a range of unique and exciting projects, this will allow you to gain experience across a range of products and areas. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in the developing of the new team, which allows you to shape and influence how and what the Capability Centre will look like. Reporting into the Product Security Operations Manager and working alongside various teams you will receive support to develop and progress, including working towards Chartership status to allow you to further your career.
