What you'll do
As the Driver Training Lead at Sainsbury's, you will:
* Deliver technical and service-based training to our driver colleagues, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries to our customers while providing excellent service at their doorstep.
* Act as a key point of contact to welcome new driving colleagues, conduct risk assessments, and provide coaching to enhance their driving skills.
* Champion great customer experience by delivering service training, analysing driver performance post-collision, and ensuring overall operational excellence by completing store visits, reviewing telematics data, and delivering coaching to store/hub management and colleagues.
* Maintain records for driver colleagues, analyse performance data, and develop action plans to improve service and safety within your cluster of stores, ultimately contributing to the success of our delivery operations.
Who you are
* Must hold an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualification (this is essential).
* Have held a driving license for a minimum of three years with a maximum of 6 points worth of endorsements.
* Previous experience in Home Delivery operations is advantageous.
* Strong coaching skills and experience in meeting facilitation within a training environment.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage and analyse data using internal digital systems.
* DBS cleared.
* Good Microsoft Office and Power BI knowledge would be desirable.
