Offer description

Overview

We are recruiting an experienced, positive and enthusiastic Team Leader/House Manager who, under the guidance of the Deputy Head of Care and Head of Care (Registered Manager), will support their allocated staff team to care for and support students throughout their placement at Cambian Lufton College. The role emphasises person-centred care and high engagement within the homes through staff commitment to outstanding quality of care. The successful candidate will receive excellent professional development and opportunities for ongoing career progression. Cambian Lufton College operates across Lufton Manor, Lufton Manor Farm and community houses as a 30-acre rural campus on the outskirts of Yeovil, Somerset. The College caters for young people and adults aged 16–25 with additional learning needs and complex behaviours that may challenge. It supports all young people, including those who may not have previously accessed bespoke, meaningful education, preparing them for adulthood in an individualised way. The College offers 38 and 52 week residential placements with a holistic approach from education, care, clinical and support teams to those with additional and complex needs including Autism and Asperger’s. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment with trained, qualified professionals within an expanding, successful educational organisation. Requirements for Enhanced DBS and reference checks will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice. While recruitment checks may extend the processing time, we endeavour to keep the process as short as possible. All young people are equally entitled to have their needs met in a fair and balanced way. Cambian Group employees are responsible for promoting equal opportunities for all and for challenging any discrimination against any young person or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation or any other perceived difference.
