An opportunity has become available for a Track inspector to inspect railway tracks at multiple stations throughout the UK.
You must be Sentinel-qualified and trained to the relevant Network Rail standards for each inspection type. Supervisors will be PTS, IWA, or COSS qualified and competent in SVI methodology and reporting.
The inspections will be undertaken in accordance with Network Rail standards, specifically NR/L2/TRK/001. NR/L3/TRK/002/A01, and other relevant standards.
Objectives
1. To identify and address track defects that may compromise safety or reliability before the next scheduled inspection.
2. To carry out minor corrective maintenance during patrols to mitigate defect progression.
3. To fulfil compliance with Network Rail documentation, including the completion and submission forms.
4. To provide assurance that inspections are effective and guide future maintenance priorities.
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday. The company will provide a van as you will be travelling to several locations throughout the Midlands and North West of England.
