A leading technology manufacturer is seeking aSenior Electronics Buyerto own procurement for PCBs, PCBAs and electronic components. This role blends commercial strategy with hands-on technical involvement, influencing engineering decisions and strengthening a global supply chain.

This is a role split between supporting NPI projects; sourcing new components from international suppliers as well as managing ongoing suppliers and component shortage challenges.
What Youll Do
* Lead commodity strategy aligned with technology roadmaps, cost targets and project timelines
* Select and manage suppliers globally, negotiating competitive pricing and terms
* Track component risk, EOL issues and obsolescence using industry tools
* Review BOMs with Engineering to ensure long-lifecycle, low-risk component choices
* Source hard-to-find/obsolete parts while maintaining strict counterfeit controls
* Drive NPI readiness, from cost negotiation to production process qualification
* Lead value engineering, supplier resourcing and quality improvement projects
* Oversee supplier quality performance, issue resolution and continuous improvement
What Youll Bring
