Are Vold your experience Service Engineer with a strong background in electrical control systems? We ’’looking for a dedicated professional to join a leading global supplier of advanced lubrication and coating equipment for the glass container industry.
Location: Based at our UK office in Chesterfield, with regular UK and international travel.
What You’ll Do
* Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain precision lubrication and coating systems at customer sites worldwide.
* público the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
* Produce detailed engineering service reports to support quality standards and continuous improvement.
* Apply your knowledge of PLC control systems (Siemens & Schneider preferred) to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
* Participate in call‑out cover alongside the engineering team.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred), plus strong mechanical aptitude.
* Hands‑on experience with the ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Willingness to travel extensively in the UK and overseas, often outside standard office hours.
* Proficiency in personal computing and ideally some PLC experience.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent communication skills; foreign language ability is a bonus but not essential.
