Salary: Grade F
Contract Type: Part-time (20 hours) days and times can be discussed at interview. Term-time plus 5 days

At St Michael’s we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor / Pastoral Manager to join our team. This is a vital role within our school, supporting pupils and families to ensure our child thrive.
You will work closely with pupils, parents, staff, and external agencies to provide practical and emotional support, helping children thrive both inside and outside the classroom. You’ll be a visible and approachable presence in our school, offering a listening ear, consistent guidance and targeted interventions where needed.
What we’re looking for:
Someone with experience of working with children and families in an educational or support setting.
A confident communicator with a calm, supportive approach.
Someone who is patience, empathic and understanding of the barriers our children and families may face
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
A team player who is proactive, resilient, and committed to helping every child succeed.
