We're looking for a General Manager for a community pub in Killingworth, Newcastle. Salary up to £43k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub
The Kings Arms is a 2 zoned community pub based in Killingworth, Newcastle, situated next to Killingworth shopping centre. It's a real community pub with regular charity/community events taking place throughout the year, and needs a new manager to continue that trend. The Kings Arms as a great bar area with plenty of TV screens for watching sport and the site does attract interest from sports fans, especially when Newcastle United are on TV, there is also a strong food element in the trade, served through our traditional pub food menu and specialist pizza oven. There is also some outdoor seating and a large shared car park.
The Kings Arms trades very well currently with an average weekly sales of £20,000, with 65/35 wet to food split and is popular with a variety of guests including a mix of families, young adults, mature diners and regular drinkers. There is plenty of housing within 1 mile of the site giving opportunity to attract more locals/regulars, and the pub can form part of drinking circuit within the local area with 6 pubs all within a few miles.
There is no management accommodation available on site.
