An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Residential Support Worker to support a team in running a beautiful two-bedroom home.
You will be working with a dynamic organisation with a highly experienced and skilled management team.
Being part of a team, you will gain an understanding of parenting through the PACE model of care. You will want to develop a further understanding of Dyadic Developmental Practice.
All team members are trained as DDP informed practitioners and our commitment would continue and grow in this area.
You will work in a small home with two children, who have suffered trauma and as a result, have attachment disorder and display challenging behaviour.
Responsibilities
* Working closely with the Registered Manager to help ensure that the Home meets high standards.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, making sure care standards are of the highest quality.
* Developing and leading a fantastic team and practice.
* Part of an on-call rota.
* Mentoring to support our PACE and DDP understanding.
Skills.
* Minimum Level 3 NVQ/ QCF in children.
* Experience of working with children
Willing to work towards a QCF LV 5 in leadership and management after successful probation.
Salary - Per annum £32,500-£35,000 depending on experience and qualifications. It includes a sleep-in allowance of two nights per week.
Must hold a valid driving licence.
