Job Description
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Civil Engineering contractor and deliver civil engineering packages in the Suffolk area on a major project. They can provide accommodation if you are living outside of the area.
The company are a well establish specialist contractor and market leaders in delivery of water, environmental and civils sector projects, and your role as Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for looking after the commercial aspects of the work on this major project.
Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Maintain cost control procedures
- Budgets and Cash flow forecasts
- Effectively implement NEC contract
- Sub contractor management and payments
- Applications for payment
- CVR's
- Month end reporting
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor happy to consider AQS applicants who are looking for their next step.
- Ideally worked in Civil Engineering / Water / Infrastructure sectors
- NEC3 form of contract
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor
- Relevant qualifications e.g. Degree
Package & Information offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- £45k - £55k depending on experience
- Company car
