A2B Soical Care have a superb opportunity for a Deputy Manager to provide care and support to children in a 3 bed EBD childrens home based in Harrow, London
Responsibilities:
1. The general leadership and management of a team of staff, young people and the day to day management of the home.
2. Setting an example to all other staff in high standards of dress code, professional courtesy and manners, communication, report writing, dealing with issues and conflict resolution.
3. Preparing the agenda for meetings and for chairing and taking minutes.
4. Training new staff in care staff procedures and routines.
5. Ensuring that all members of staff are fully aware of policies, procedures and routines concerning the communication of personal and sensitive information.
6. Ensure all staff work within the homes Policies and Procedures in place at the home.
7. Have excellent knowledge and understanding of Children's core documents and the ability to monitor and update these as and when necessary
8. Partake in the interview process when requested
9. Collate, monitor and maintain staff personnel files and documentation, including staff training and probation.
