This is a brand newly created role to support the day to day running of the finance department due to company growth. You will report into the Financial Director and oversee a small transactional finance team. Role Responsibilities
* Ownership and responsibility of monthly management accounts
* Budget, forecasting and cashflow management
* Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
* Preparation of statuary accounts
* Manage the audit process and external advisors
* Company with HMRC (VAT, CIS, corporation tax)
* Maintain strong finance controls and internal processes
* Work alongside operational, commercial and other leadership teams within the business
* Oversee a small transactional finance team
Person Specification
* Proven experience within a financial/accounts management position
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Strong IT skills including advanced MS Excel
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Candidates from practice looking for a move into industry would be desirable
