We’re looking for an ambitious and proactive Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities. You’ll be at the forefront of our growth in the Lincoln patch—building strong relationships, crafting smart solutions, and making a tangible impact from day one.
Your core responsibilities
1. Building and managing a strong pipeline of profitable new business opportunities.
2. Meeting and exceeding quarterly/annual sales targets.
3. Creating and presenting strategic sales plans, reports, and forecasts.
4. Collaborating with Regional Commercial and Depot Managers to align campaigns and local strategies.
5. Acting as the main point of contact between Biffa and prospective customers.
6. Leading pricing negotiations and tailoring solutions to client needs.
7. Proven experience in new business sales, especially selling contracted services.
8. A track record of exceeding sales targets.
9. Excellent prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
10. Highly motivated, goal-driven, and able to work autonomously.
11. Full UK Driving Licence.
