TPF Recruitment is the leading specialist recruiter for accountancy practice professionals across the Southern Home Counties. We are proud to be supporting one of our valued clients with an excellent new opportunity for a Tax Senior to join their expanding UK team.

About the Role
This position will be based at the firm’s Reigate office, with flexibility for the right candidate to be based in either Sevenoaks or Basingstoke. The role offers the chance to work closely with private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, non-residents, non-doms, property investors, and trusts.

You will take ownership of your own portfolio, acting as the first point of contact for clients, while also supporting senior managers and directors on interesting and varied advisory projects. This is not a narrow compliance role – you will gain exposure to a mix of compliance, advisory, and client relationship management.

For ambitious candidates, the firm offers a clear pathway towards Assistant Manager and beyond, with full support for ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the tax compliance process for a diverse portfolio of clients
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
* Support senior managers and directors with advisory work
* Deal with client queries promptly and effectively
* Review trainee-prepared work and provide feedback
* Monitor budgets and deadlines for allocated work
* Keep up to date with relevant UK tax legislation
* Contribute to the training and development of junior staff




Requirements

Candidate Profile
* ATT qualified or CTA part-qualified
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within tax/accountancy practice
* Solid technical knowledge across a range of private client tax areas
* Comfortable in a client-facing role with excellent communication skills
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software
