Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking a Employment Solicitor from Newly Qualified + to join its Employment Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded individual to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising employers and employees on a broad range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious
* Managing a varied caseload including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistleblowing, and breach of contract claims
* Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
* Supporting senior solicitors and partners on complex employment tribunal and High Court matters
* Conducting legal research and preparing case documentation
* Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings (where appropriate)
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Participating in business development and networking activities
Skills & Experience
* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ – up to 3 year PQE)
* Seat or demonstrable experience in employment law during training contract
* Strong technical knowledge of UK employment law
* Excellent drafting and communication skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
