Senior FPGA/Digital Electronics Engineer
We are looking for an experienced FPGA and electronics design engineer to help develop advanced wireless communication systems, including Low Earth Orbit satellites and High-Altitude Platform Systems. We are pursuing innovative new communications technologies across satellite, cellular, and private networks.

The role
You will be part of the Digital Systems Group, focusing on FPGA, ASIC, and high-performance board-level electronics design. Examples of projects include:
* The world’s largest commercial airborne antenna
* The world’s lowest power voice detection system
* Communications system for a swarm of warehouse robots
* Satellite phone handsets
Work spans from high-volume consumer applications to aerospace and satellite communications. You will have the opportunity to further develop skills in digital electronics, PCB, and FPGA design, and you may assume technical leadership roles on project teams as you gain experience.
The Digital Systems Group collaborates with software, signal processing, AI, and RF engineers. Projects are typically small, giving you significant responsibility and opportunities to influence future technology directions.
Requirements
* An excellent degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related subject
* FPGA or ASIC design and verification, including Verilog
* Technical leadership experience
* Knowledge of radio frequency systems
* Embedded software and scripting
* Understanding of digital signal processing and its RF applications
* A passion for understanding and developing new technologies
* Tools: GitLab, Altium (PCB), HyperLynx (SI), Doors (Next), VHDL, UVM, C/C++, Tcl, Python
