Secondary SEND Teacher (Maths & English)
Salary: £32,000 - £42,000
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday - Friday, 08:15-16:00)

Are you a dedicated educator driven by the belief that every learner deserves a pathway to independence? We are seeking a pioneering Secondary SEND Teacher to join our inclusive education community at our brand-new site. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new chapter as we expand our high-quality, personalised teaching for pupils with SEND across KS3 and KS4.

In this role, you will be the architect of your students' success, specifically covering Maths and English. You will blend functional skills with practical training to ensure our learners are ready for the world beyond the school gates, embedding communication, emotional regulation, and sensory support throughout the school day.

Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes for Maths and English aligned to EHCP outcomes and individual starting points.
Create a calm, structured, and trauma-informed classroom culture using consistent routines and visual supports.

Coordinate and maintain detailed records of progress, tracking academic milestones alongside social-emotional and independence targets
Work closely with support staff and therapists (e.g., SaLT, OT) to deliver integrated, child-centred support.
Act as a key contributor to Annual Reviews and EHCP processes, ensuring each "small win" is a step toward long-term success.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised degree, with evidence of ongoing professional development in SEND or secondary practice.
Proven experience teaching or supporting pupils in KS3/KS4, adapting methods for sensory, SEMH, and communication needs.

Strong understanding of EHCP frameworks, IEP implementation, and positive behaviour support strategies.
