As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, you will work closely with the student, teachers, and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that caters to the student's unique requirements.
SEN Teaching Assistant key responsibilities of the role include:
* Providing one-to-one support to the assigned student throughout the school day, adapting to their specific needs and learning style
* Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans and strategies that promote the student's academic, social, and emotional development
* Encouraging the student's independence and self-esteem through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback
* Assisting the student with daily tasks, such as organisation, communication, and social interactions
* Maintaining accurate records of the student's progress, achievements, and any concerns, and regularly communicating with relevant stakeholders
* Participating in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs
* Commute to Cambridge, Cambridgeshire full time.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant to be considered for this role, you should have:
