Role Overview
We are partnered with a global engineering business in Chelmsford, Essex, developing advanced electronic systems used across aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. As production demand continues to grow, they are looking for a Production Engineer to support manufacturing, improve processes, and help transition new designs into stable, repeatable production.
Responsibilities
* Support manufacturing and test activities, resolving technical issues on the line.
* Carry out fault finding and root cause analysis to improve product performance.
* Drive practical improvements to processes, cost, and manufacturability.
* Support new product introduction, making sure designs are ready for efficient, scalable build.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting manufacturing in an electromechanical or electronics environment.
* A hands‑on approach to problem solving, with strong fault‑finding skills.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles.
* An engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
