Overview
Gloucestershire County Council is recruiting a small team of Inclusion Partners to support the implementation of a DfE funded “Whole School Inclusion programme” pilot. This is a unique opportunity for experienced and dynamic leaders within education who will act as Inclusion Partners to influence sustainable, system-wide improvements. Each partner will work collaboratively with a small group of either primary or secondary school leaders and the local authority to pilot a new way of working with data informed strategic multi-agency support.
Responsibilities
* Review current practice, identify areas for development and embed new and enhanced ways of working.
* Review and improve the use of SEND funding.
* Co-deliver and facilitate high-quality CPD and training alongside expert partners.
* Develop action plans with clear intent that embed inclusive pedagogy and culture.
* Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities for school leaders.
* Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure schools have timely access to strategic multi-agency support.
* Monitor impact, evaluate outcomes, and contribute to the strategic development of the programme.
What we’re looking for
* Relevant senior leadership experience in a school or trust.
* A strong track record of driving whole school improvement and inclusive practice.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
* Understanding of managing complex SEND funding models and budgets.
* Knowledge of current challenges and opportunities within the education landscape including Ofsted, curriculum review, SEND Code of Practice, and inclusive pedagogy.
* Ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries and influence at all levels.
* Experience of working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.

* Willing to travel across the county (a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required).
